Here’s to a Modern love story in the midst of South Africa! My absolute favourite thing in the world is when a couple take a risk with me. When they are excited (and admittedly nervous) to try something new.
Let me ask: Do you wear your hair the same way? Do your makeup the majority of the time the same way? Do you gravitate towards the same types of clothing and colours? Well, consider me the one to usher you into another realm of looking at yourself. Aren’t we tired of the same old stuff, with no personality, no story—just copy and paste?
When Mischa and Dario reached out to me, I knew this was going to be special. Modern and adventurous at heart we wanted their shoot to reflect their unique style. They wanted more than just pretty pictures—they wanted their story captured in a way that felt true to them.
I was able to build a mood board of how I envision their shoot and together we put together something that merged both the vision and their real-selves.

A Modern Adventure
Misha and Dario brought their modern style to life with chic outfits, bold shapes, and a bottle of their favourite rum they had been saving for an special occasion. Loved their sunglasses and coolness just “chef’s kiss”.
Breaking the Mould
Instead of traditional we embraced the unexpected. We shot near sunset in the fynbos beach dunes, capturing the bright light of the sun before it tapers off into softer hues. We played around with poses until we found what echoed their edgy style and how they really are around each other.

What made this shoot truly special was Mish and Dario’s willingness to be themselves. They laughed, clinked a glass and shared intimate moments that I had the privilege to capture.
