So, you’ve been asked to be a bridesmaid or groomsmen for your loved one’s big day. What an honour!
Being chosen by a dear friend or relative to share this journey with them, as part of their inner circle, is a beautiful and intimate thing. However, it can be quite intimidating! Especially if it’s your first time in a wedding party.
I have put together a few tips here, which will hopefully help YOU to help the bride and groom on their big day. Remember, the most important thing is to have fun and feel the love!
There is a LOT going on during a wedding and the prepping for it. It’s impossible to keep everything straight in your head, even if you do have a great memory! So keep a checklist, and make sure you’ve got a list of the vendors and their contact numbers too.
Make sure that the bride and groom (as well as you and the rest of the party) has eaten a wholesome breakfast. Choose food and drinks that don’t cause bloating and are energizing for the long and exciting day ahead.
7. Share the joy.
This is the most important day of your friend or loved one’s life. It is a special moment for you and everyone involved, too! Once you’ve got all your duties as bridesmaid/groomsman under control, enjoy the day and help spread the feeling love that is so powerful on a wedding day.
