Nina and Nick’s Intimate Garden Wedding at Bosch Studio

In a world where love stories are as unique as the individuals they unite, Nina and Nick’s journey stands out as a testament to their shared passions and the beauty of authenticity. Nestled in the heart of their family’s cherished Bosch Studio, their wedding day was an enchanting blend of creativity, intimacy, and meaningful connections.

A Love Rooted in Artistry:

Nina, a talented ceramics jewellery maker, comes from a lineage of skilled ceramists. The legacy of Bosch Studio runs through her veins, making it the perfect backdrop for a love story that combines art and devotion. Nick, her partner of 10 years, brings his own uniqueness to the narrative, complementing Nina’s creative spirit with his unwavering support and love.

A Venue with History and Meaning:

Bosch Studio, the heart and soul of Nina’s family heritage, was the ideal setting for the couple’s nuptials. The lush garden provided a canvas for their love to bloom, and the studio itself echoed with the whispers of generations past, infusing the day with a deep sense of belonging.
Nina had asked her brother who is a local farmer if she could plant her Zinnia’s for the wedding along the land borders. It was a very special harvest.

Crafting Connections:

For Nina and Nick, a wedding was not just an event but a celebration of their journey surrounded by cherished friends and family. The guest list was intentionally intimate, reflecting their desire to share this significant moment with those who held a special place in their hearts. This was a departure from the traditional wedding pomp, focusing instead on fostering genuine connections.

A Night of Enchantment:

Under the embrace of twinkling stars, the courtyard was transformed into a magical wonderland. Tables adorned with personalized ceramic plates, each a testament to the couple’s creativity, added a touch of artistic flair to the evening. The bride and her bridesmaids lovingly set the stage, infusing every detail with care and devotion.

Culinary Delights:

The couple’s commitment to making every aspect of their day special extended to their choice of food. The wedding was even planned around the availability of a cherished caterer, highlighting their dedication to curating an experience that indulged all the senses. The sumptuous feast not only delighted the taste buds but also embodied the couple’s unique love story.

Embracing Authenticity:

Nina and Nick’s wedding was a tribute to breaking away from convention and embracing the extraordinary. Their celebration captured the essence of their journey, a fusion of artistic passion, deep connections, and a commitment to staying true to themselves.

Nina and Nick’s wedding at Bosch Studio was a breathtaking ode to the beauty of genuine connections and artistic devotion. Their story reminds us that weddings need not conform to tradition but can be an exquisite reflection of the couple’s personality, love, and shared history. For couples seeking an intimate and artful celebration that truly resonates, Bosch Studio stands as a testament to the magic that unfolds when creativity and love intertwine.

Some questions I had for Nina & Nick:

1. How did you decide on hosting your wedding at the Studio?
The studio served as the home in which Nina grew up and Nick relates to it as one of his best ‘Happy Places’. So many wonderful memories have been created and shared there, that it was a no-brainer to add another celebration of life to the Studios list.
2. What was challenging about hosting your wedding here and what was the biggest thing you had to compromise on?
We organised 90% of the wedding ourselves. From the planning to the coordinating and all the fine details  of setting the inbetween. Before the wedding, there was quite a lot to do, I thought the day would be extremely stressful, but being cought up in all the excitement and having so much support from our loved ones we breezed through all the prep work needed to be done. I was setting table places with my hair and make up all done and I remember feeling such a strong feeling of pride and excitement.
3. How did you choose your officiant?
Lisa De Waal has been a person that both of us will always treasure and admire. She lives with grace and kindness at the fore of all that she does. It was a pretty simple decision, not to mention the fact that Lisa is also one of Ninas dear cousins.
Any words you can share that you will remember always?
“I Do!”
4. What was bestest LOL moment for you?
When we opened the dance floor, both of us had no idea what we were going to do. Nick has two left feet and Nina has two right, but we quickly found our rhythm and got lost in our own laughter of our charade.
5. What memory do you have from your wedding day that you will never forget? What part of the day had effected you and your relationship the most?
It was a day filled with only the best of emotions. I’ll never forget how we both smiled from ear to ear all day and all night long.
6. Any advice or words of wisdom you would give to future couples who are planning their big day?
It’s such a clichéd saying, but the day disappears in the blink of any eye. Enjoy every moment and make sure to find a gap to soak up all the love expressed between you, around you, and towards you.
