Best wedding photographer in Cape Town

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?

I started photographing when I was very young. I started my business in 2009.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

I have two homes one in Mpumalanga and the other in the Western Cape.

HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE GET?

Each collection or session varies. I am committed to capturing whole-heartedly and I don’t believe in a “cut-off” amount and will not withhold any images from you.

WHAT DO WE WEAR?

I will help you with this and send you a guide.

HOW DO THE PAYMENTS WORK?

I require 30% deposit to pen in your date and then the final 70% payable in 2 or more instalments before the wedding day. I am open to work with your schedule.

HOW LONG CAN WE WAIT TO RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?

This will all depend on how many photos I took on the day, how busy the season is, my travel schedule and holidays. You will however receive a small sneak-peek before hand. A couple session usually 3 weeks and a wedding 5 weeks or more.

CAN WE HAVE THE RAW IMAGES?

No, as the editing is what makes the image unique and without this step the photos are not fully done. I promise to ensure nothing is missed, however if there is a moment you would like to see (as I could have missed it) I can have a look and send it to you.

DO YOU HELP WITH THE PLANNING?

I am happy to help wherever I am able. If you need any recommendations let me know.

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE START THE WEDDING CEREMONY?

I will set you up with my beautiful “I DO WEDDINGS” magazine with all the information on the day’s happenings and how much time you need for each event in the day. I will also send you a schedule suggestion working back from the golden hour (an hour before sunset) when we do the creative shoot with just the two of you.

HOW DO YOUR TRAVEL FEES WORK?

All the travel fees are already included in the Collections. So you don’t have to worry about unexpected costs.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DO IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE OUR SHOOT OR WEDDING?

If you have already paid the deposit this will legally not be refundable and you will have to pay a new deposit to book a new date.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING?

Oh, my golly I hope this never happens and would only happen if it was totally out of my control. However, in this case, I will do my best to find a photographer to take my place, although I am not legally held to do so. Your money will be refunded.

WHAT ABOUT BAD WEATHER?

Sometimes you just gotta roll with it. If it is really bad and there is a chance my gear could get ruined then we can totally re-schedule.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ASSISTANT AND A SECOND SHOOTER?

An assistant is the to carry bags, hold the bouquet, help arrange family members for their photos, hold your drinks and adjust the veil. Basically, anything that needs assistance.

And a second shooter is another photographer with a camera to capture your day. I usually recommend a second-shooter when you have over 80 guests. This helps capture more of your guests than just the highlights that only one shooter can possibly photograph.
