Tammy and Chris have finally done the deed folks! Yes, they are officially husband and wife and we are so freaken pleased we could be part of their most awesome day! And true to the two of them it was unique. Did you check out their warm-up shoot? Also totally them. Here is the link. On a beautiful warm winter’s day (thank their lucky stars, the weather has been so up and down) they cleared out a road to an old ruin on their family farm, laid some rugs and put some chairs out and had their ceremony under the warm African sun. It was a perfect day! The Cowshed has hosted many weddings over the years and this time it was their chance to host their own. Farm wedding’s out here at Badfontein really bring you to a quiet space and one strangely familial.
And the shed where Tammy and Chris hosted their reception was done so beautifully. They used all Tammy’s beautiful succulents and other creatures and made it home. Botanicals and prints, hand-pressed foliage and eclectics from all over Africa. Each space was unique and carefully hand curated.
And dinner was served, true to Fallone tradition, in bowls on the tables so everyone could help themselves and pass it around. It was a very special family gathering.
Tammy and Chris, I am so excited about your marriage! I think you make the coolest couple. I think your test run is gonna serve you well on this next part of the journey. Just remember to not sweat the small stuff, but if there is small stuff that does make you sweat have a look and make sure it is still small stuff. If, not well you’ll figure it out! Enjoy your memories!
